Managing Participants In An Event

1. Go to your Gift Exchange page
2. Select the Participants tab on the web or tap on the Participants section in the iOS or Android apps
3. On the web, click the delete icon next to the person's name you want to remove.
4. On the apps, click the Remove button next to the person's name you want to remove.

Note, that Participants can only be removed before Drawing Names has started. Removing someone before names are drawn will also remove them from any draw restrictions.

Manually Or Automatically

Names are automatically drawn the morning after the sign-up/RSVP deadline. If you want to control when names are drawn you can choose to Draw Names Early instead.

1. Go to your Gift Exchange page
2. Select the About tab on the web or scroll down the page on iOS and Android apps
3. Select the 'Draw Names Early' button when you are ready.

Note that anyone who has not RSVP's before choosing to Draw Names Early will not be included in the draw. If someone is left off the draw, currently the only way to include them would be to reinvite them in a new event.

Go To The Event Page

The easiest way to find out who you are gifting to is to login to Nice List and go to the event page.

1. Select the Gift Exchange event from your My Events page.
2. If you have not yet drawn your name click the 'Draw Name' button to reveal who you have drawn.
3. On the web you will see a button in the middle of the page to view who you have drawn, click it to see the person's name and a link to their wishlist.
4. For the apps, you will see a button at the top of the page to view who you have drawn, click it to see the person's name and a link to their wishlist.

In Case Of Accidental Events

To delete a Gift Exchange you created accidentally

1. Select the Gift Exchange you would like to delete.
2. On the web go to the About tab or on iOS and Android apps scroll down.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. Click Delete Event at the bottom of the page.
5. Click OK to confirm Deletion.

Note, if you do not see pencil icons to edit event details, you are not signed into the organizer account and cannot delete the Gift Exchange.

How to set Draw Restrictions

1. Invite everyone to the Gift Exchange.
2. Navigate to the Gift Exchange you need to set Draw Restrictions for.
3. On the web, go to the About tab or for iOS and Android apps scroll down the page.
4. Select Draw Restrictions.
5. Under the person's name, select the dropdown. 
6. From there check off each person that the participant shouldn't draw.
7. Close the dropdown.
8. Repeat for each person.

Note that if you clear a draw restriction that creates a conflict where someone will not be drawn, you will not be able to Draw Names Early, until you fix the restrictions.

Finding And Inviting Friends

You can add friends that are already using Nice List, even if they are not in your Gift Exchange! 

Finding Friends on Nice List

1. Log into your Nice List account.
2. On any page you whether on the web or iOS and Android apps you will see a search icon in the top bar.
3. Enter the email address or first and last name of the friend you are searching for in the text box (the text box is labeled "Search" in the app). 
4. Once you see their profile, open their profile and select the 'Follow' button. They will now appear in your friends list under 'Following'.

Note that once both of you are following each other, you will be able to message their directly and send them gift ideas.

Inviting Friends

There are multiple ways to invite friends to join nice list. Here are a few ways...

- Share your profile and wishlists by selecting the 'Share' button on your profile page.

- Send an invite to an event either by the invite link or the invite code found on your organizer page.
