Nightmare Magazine (Subscription)

NIGHTMARE is a horror and dark fantasy magazine. In its pages, you will find all kinds of horror and dark fantasy, from zombie stories and haunted house tales, to visceral psychological horror. A 12 month subscription to NIGHTMARE includes more than 45 stories (about 240,000 words of fiction). In each issue, you will find four pieces of short fiction, from a variety of authors—from the bestsellers and award-winners you already know to the best new voices you haven't heard of yet. Some of the authors we've published over the years include Jonathan Maberry, Joe Hill, Robert Kirkman, Peter Straub, Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Carrie Vaughn, Sarah Langan, Tananarive Due, and Carmen Maria Machado to name but a few. In addition our short fiction offerings, NIGHTMARE also offers a variety of nonfiction features, including feature interviews, Q&As with our authors that go behind-the-scenes of their stories, book reviews, and our monthly column The H Word that explores what makes horror's bloody heart beat. Launched in 2012, stories published in NIGHTMARE have won the Nebula Award, the World Fantasy Award, and the Shirley Jackson Award, and have been named finalists for the Bram Stoker Award.
